Google announced today the introduction of Gemini Advanced, a new and more capable version of its AI service, Gemini. This new service utilizes Google’s latest AI model, Ultra 1.0, which Google claims to be the most skilled AI system developed to date.
Designed to excel in complex tasks such as coding, logical reasoning, and creative work, Gemini Advanced can maintain long conversations and understand context from previous interactions.
Google notes that Gemini Advanced could act as a personal tutor, providing coding advice and helping content creators generate new ideas.
As Google continues to develop Gemini Advanced, users will encounter ongoing improvements, including new features, multimodal capabilities, interactive coding, and data analysis tools. Gemini Advanced is currently available in English in over 150 countries, with plans to add more languages in the process.
Google One AI Premium
During the announcement of Gemini Advanced, Google also introduced a new premium subscription plan named Google One AI Premium. Available as part of the Google One AI Premium Plan, Gemini Advanced is offered at a monthly rate of 19.99 $, with a free trial for the first two months. This plan includes the best and latest innovations from Google AI, along with 2TB of storage capacity. Additionally, AI Premium subscribers will soon be able to use Gemini, formerly known as Duet AI, in Gmail, Docs, Slides, Sheets, and more. Google conducted comprehensive security checks with a bold and safe use approach to AI before launching Gemini Advanced. The core model was further developed based on feedback and reinforced learning.

Gemini Available on Mobile
Responding to user demand for mobile accessibility, Google is rolling out a new app for Android and integration with the Google app on iOS.
Gemini will be integrated with Google Assistant on Android devices for experiencing and voice control with connected home devices. The iOS Google app will soon offer similar features.
The Gemini app is currently available on Android, with integration with the Google app on iOS expected in the coming weeks. Initially supporting the English language, Japanese and Korean will be added soon, with plans for further country availability and language support. Google encourages users to try Gemini and provide feedback to help improve the experience. The company also reiterated its commitment to responsible AI development, including comprehensive safety tests, efforts to address biases and unsafe content, in accordance with its published AI Principles.
